Other Options (check only if applicable):

I'll be taking all of my courses at the Montrose campus and will be in contact with the personnel at the Montrose campus (970.249.7009) to get advised and registered.

I'm from out-of state and will not be able to attend any of these dates. I will contact the academic advising office at 800.982.MESA ext. 1177 to arrange for my academic advising session to be done over the phone.

I'm a transfer student and will not be able to attend any of these dates. I will contact the Center for Transfer Services at 800.982.MESA ext. 1232 for assistance. *Note: I understand that if I don't attend Student Orientation my transfer credit evaluation may not be completed until after classes begin.

Take the Accuplacer BEFORE attending orientation or registering for classes
Accuplacer should be taken at our Testing Center, or by proxy in your home town. Please contact our Testing Center to set up an appointment or for more information at 888.455.2671 or 970.255.2750 or at testing@mesastate.edu. If you are unable to take the assessment before student orientation, you can (as a last resort) take the ACCUPLACER the morning of student orientation. If you use this option, you may miss some elements of the orientation program.

Taking the Accuplacers enables Mesa State College to place students in the correct English, reading and/or math classes. Students whose ACT or SAT scores are at or above the following scores are exempt from the assessment:
ACT: Math 19, English 18, Reading 17
SAT: Verbal 440, Math 470

Please plan ahead and expect to spend the entire day with us. At the end of the day you will walk away oriented, personally advised and registered, but more importantly you will be an official part of the Mesa State College family!

Please select the program you would like to attend.
