We offer a variety of services to aid employers in filling their positions with MSC students and/or alumni. Our goal is to assist in matching the best candidate with the best company. Employers must adhere to our employers policies when using our services. The College reserves the right to refuse any employer the access to recruit on campus.
Note: Most of our services are FREE!
We host three career fairs annually. Employers are welcome to attend our career fairs held each Fall and Spring by registering and paying the attendance fee. For more information on our fairs see our Career Fairs page. We reserve the right to screen for duplication of employers representing the same company. If registration fees are not paid, employers will not be permitted to attend future career fairs.
The Advising & Career Center maintains a database of job announcements that include full-time, part-time, seasonal work, and internship opportunities. These announcements are available to all current students and alumni. The database allows for interactive searching by keywords such as title, employer, and qualifications. To assist your organization, we would be pleased to add your job announcements to the database. This service is FREE to companies.
There are five options for posting job announcements:
When recruiting at Mesa State College, we do our best to personalize the recruiting experience for your company. If you have special recruiting needs, please do not hesitate to ask. We will be glad to help you fill your job openings with our students or alumni. Our staff is here to assist you and there is no fee to utilize our services. Access our services by calling 970.248.1491 or 970.248.1177 and arranging a date. We ask for three to four weeks notice to provide the best service.
The following services are available by request:
We provide these services for scheduled visitations:
Three campus visits may be scheduled for each semester. Semesters include Fall (August - December), Spring (January - May), exceptions may be made for each semester. Employers are required to remain at their assigned table for the duration of the campus visit and allow interested students to approach them. Employers are not allowed to roam the campus and approach students as they walk across campus going to class or other activities. We do not want students feeling uncomfortable by employers' unwanted solicitations. Employers can have access to the students to discuss job opportunities in a structured and expected forum.
Located next to the Advising & Career Center, in Lowell Heiny Hall 129, our Career Resources Corner houses bulletin boards and shelves where students and alumni can obtain employment and career information.
