MBA Chapter
Stay Connected
Success is not just about what we know, but also about who we know. You are connected to your fellow MBA alumni, current students and faculty by a common experience. This connection can be important to everyone. Alumni of the MBA program at Mesa State College are CEO’s, managers, entrepreneurs and future community and business leaders. The MBA Chapter feels one of the most important services it can provide is assisting alumni in staying connected. Maintaining this network of connections is not just beneficial to us alumni professionally, but allows us to stay in touch with old friends and make new ones.
Online Connection
The chapter has chosen LinkedIn.com to facilitate our network. LinkedIn is an online “business card” exchange site. It allows each user to control their profile and level of privacy. Enclosed is some material that describes the site in more detail. LinkedIn is being used for this same purpose by schools such as George Washington School of Business, Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, University of Michigan, Oxford, Dartmouth, Yale, University of Texas, UCLA and many others.
This site allows you to create a profile that other alumni, faculty and students can view. You can create connections and be updated when those contact’s profiles change. This will serve as the online directory for our MBA Chapter and will provide the most current information available. Overall it is a simple way for you to stay connected with alumni from the MBA program.
