2000
Dan Adams '00,
Dan holds a BA in Management. He now works as a sports complex superintendent
for the City of Aurora Parks and Open Space. He also attended Colorado
Institute of Art. Dan lives in Aurora, Colorado.
Jared Hargrave, BA '00
At Mesa State College Jared worked for KMSA and was General Manager
his senior year. After graduation he worked at KJCT television in
Grand Junction, then KKTV in Colorado Springs. Currently he is a
News Videographer for KUTV, the CBS affiliate in Salt Lake City,
Utah. In 2002 he received first place in both Photography Excellence
and Feature Story from the Utah Chapter of the Society of Professional
Journalists. That same year he won the Gold-Best News Photography
award from the Utah Broadcasters Association. Jared enjoys skiing,
mountain biking, photography and hiking.
Christopher S. Krich, BA '00
Received a Masters of Science from Fort Hays State University. He
is the assistant head football coach and defensive coordinator at
Lakeland College in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
Callista T. Pearson, BA '00
In June 2001 she got a job in Kalispell, MT as bureau reporter ..later
she became bureau chief for KAJ-TV. She was promoted and moved to
Missoula, MT, where she. reports and is anchor for KPAX.

Michele L. Heflin-Garner, BA '01
Recently started as Operations Manager at Alzheimer's Association
of the Great Plains in Wichita, Kansas. I perform a little of everything
including accounting, handling all grants, fundraising, public relations,
press releases, etc. Worked at Wichita Radio Reading Service, a
radio station for the blind at Wichita State University for a year
and a half. Just got married July 5, 2003! Ian Garner and I reside
in Wichita for right now...we will be moving back to Colorado next
summer! My family (parents and siblings) are here in Kansas. No
kids YET! I am such a homebody now! I really enjoy spending time
with family, my brother, husband, little sister, parents. I still
enjoy shooting pool, some drinking, getting more community involved
Jason Mallory, MBA '01,
Is Sales Manager of Hydraulic Coupling Products for the National
Coupling Company, Inc. in Stafford, Texas. He lives in Sugarland,
Texas with his wife Krista and son Braden. Prior to his new position
he was Engineering Manager at Reynolds Polymer Technology in Grand
Junction, Colorado. Jason received his degree in Ocean Engineering
from the Florida Institute of Technology is 1992.
Dominique "Nikki" Ricciardi, BA '01
Is working in Colorado Springs, Colorado as Internal Relations Specialist
for the Harrison School District Two.

Sally A. Henry, BA '02
She is the Director of Christian Education/Outreach for the 1st
Presbyterian Church in Grand Junction, Colorado. This past summer
she went on a short-term mission to the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico.
Donald R. Pickering, BBA '02
Is employed at Mesa State College as an International Student Advisor.
Renee L.Van Tassell, BA 02
All four years of college Renee volunteered at KMSA 91.3 FM. In
her senior year she became Operations Manager of KMSA. She also
spent her time choreographing and dancing in Mesa Repertory Dance
Concerts. After graduation Renee pursued a career in radio with
Clear Channel Communications. Presently she works as an Account
Executive in Fort Collins for Clear Channel Northern Colorado. As
an AE, she has experienced event selling, local direct sales, and
sales to major advertising agencies.
Byron L. Williams, BA '02
Occupation : US Peace Corps Volunteer
Professional Achievements: After graduating Williams served as an
math/science instructor for University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV)G.E.A.R.-U.P
program and as a coach for toddler sports at Doolittle Community
Center (Las Vegas) both until May 2003. As of June 2003 Williams
has been serving Peace Corps in Lesotho 2003-2005 serving as a director
of Selibeng Youth Center in Mohale's Hoek, Lesotho located in Southern
Africa.
