Chris Cohn, Radio
Personality
Mass Communications
Mesa State College
1989 - 1991
Chris Cohn, "CONMAN" is a Colorado native. Born
and raised in Elizabeth, a small town just outside of Denver,
Chris worked on the air at KMSA in Grand Junction and KKFM
in Colorado Springs before his current employment at KAZY
and KBPI in Denver. Chris is a true student of broadcasting.
Paying strict attention to the art of radio, he was educated
right here at Mesa State College and spent time at the Colorado
Institute of Art, focusing on audio production.
The urge to create theatrical radio came easy to Chris. From
a very early age he was performing in school plays, writing
silly short stories and illustrating comic strips for his
school paper. Here at Mesa State College, Chris pursued drama,
improvisational comedy and college radio. These attributes
came in handy when he started working in professional radio.
In January 1995, the manager of CD Country for Jones Radio
Networks noticed Chris' fantastic reputation for creative
radio. Chris was handpicked to fill the evening slot on CD
Country and the success of his show has become a phenomenon.
Chris spends many weekends traveling across the nation, making
live appearances and talking to as many listeners as possible.
He is very attentive to feed back and focuses on making the
"CONMAN RADIO SHOW" the very best!
