Justin
Little Named 2008 RMAC Academic Player of the Year
(Nine Mavericks Earn All-Academic Honor)
Mesa
State's Justin Little was named 2008 Rocky Mountain Athletic
Academic Player of the Year. Little was named 2007 RMAC Academic
Player of the Year in the conference's first year of selecting the
top academic performer on the field and in the classroom a year
ago. Little is President of the Student Athlete Advisory
Council (SAAC).
The
junior outfielder from Westminster, Colorado is a Biology major
with a 3.78 GPA. Little along with teammate Jason Enewold
(Sr., RHP, Rifle, CO) were named RMAC First Team All Academic.
Enewold is majoring in Exercise Science.
Chandler
Herdt (Sr., OF, Gilbert, AZ) Marty Rover (So., C, Tempe,
AZ) and Freddie Hampe (Sr., RHP, Mequon, WI) were named RMAC
Second Team All Academic. Herdt is majoring in Kinesiology,
Rover is a Mathematics major and Hampe will graduate
with a Business Management degree.
Bryce
Enewold (RFr, C, Rifle, CO) Steve Moralez (Sr., INF,
Delta, CO) Corey Todhunter (Sr., INF, Chico, CA) and Nathan
Towne (So., RHP, Fort Collins, CO) were named to the Honor Roll.
