Amidei Earns Second Consecutive RMAC Pitcher of the Week Honor

Junior Jack Amidei was named Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season following an outstanding performance in the Mavs 37-0 victory over University of New Haven.

Amidei improved his record to 3-0 on the season and posted a complete game shutout (shortened to seven innings). He allowed just two hits, one walk and struck out five Chargers.

Amidei leads the team in wins (3), starts (4), shutouts (1) and innings pitched (20.1). He is second on the team in strikeouts (17) and fourth in earned run average (5.31).

MSC will open conference play at New Mexico Highlands on Friday.
