Kyle Hogue Named RMAC Player of the Week

Senior Kyle Hogue has been named Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Player of the Week for his outstanding performance in the Mavericks four game series sweep at Colorado Mines.

Hogue batted .474 in the four game series registering nine hits in 19 at-bats. He scored a team high nine runs, hit four homeruns and recorded 11 RBI.

In game one of the series Hogue went 4 for 5 with five RBI and four runs scored. Three of his four hits were extra base hits, including a triple and two homeruns.

Hogue is hitting .400 on the year and leads the team with 14 homeruns. He is second on the team in RBI (48) and has registered 12 doubles and two triples.

He recorded season game highs in the Mines series with seven at-bats, four runs scored, four hits, five RBI, two homeruns and 12 total bases. This is the second time this season Hogue has earned Player of the Week honors.

MSC will host Regis this weekend in a four game series beginning Friday night at 7 p.m.
