Matt Miller Named RMAC Player of the Week

Mesa State's Matt Miller (Sr., DH, Westminster, Calif.) was named Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Player of the Week helping the Mavericks sweep New Mexico Highlands opening weekend of conference play.

Miller hit .529 in the four game series recording a team high nine hits, including three homeruns. He had at least one hit in each game and registered three hits in game two and four of the series. Miller finished with seven RBI and of his 17-at bats for the weekend did not have a strikeout or base on balls.

In game one of the series Miller tallied four RBI and went to the plate five times, both individual season highs.

MSC will host Colorado Christian in a four game series beginning Friday at 4 p.m.
