Mike Provencher Named RMAC Player of the Week

Junior Mike Provencher (El Paso, Tex.) was named Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Player of the Week in the the Mavs series win over Regis University.

Provencher hit .533 in the four game series posting a team high eight hits, two homeruns, while driving in four runs and scoring three. In the Mavericks 3-2 win in game two of the series, Provencher went 2 for 3, one RBI and two runs scored. In the series finale on Sunday he recorded four hits, two RBI and scored a run.

Provencher has a team high .443 batting average, 74 hits, 56 runs scored, 18 doubles and 53 RBI. He is second on the team in homeruns (11).

MSC will host New Mexico Highlands in a four game series beginning Friday 7 p.m.
