How do I get seen by the Maverick coaching staff?

1) Attend one of our prospect camps in October and December in Grand Junction, or in June at Columbine High School. Check the camps page for dates, times and registration.
2) Have a coach call the baseball office on your behalf.
3) Fill out an on-line questionnaire.
4) Attend a walk-on tryout in June if you are a graduated senior or transfer student. Check the open tryout page for dates, times and registration.
5) Send a short video (5-10 minutes) showing your skills.

How do I get information about the baseball program?

1) Visit our webpage
2) Visits with coaches on campus are acceptable but we ask that you call two weeks ahead to set up an appointment. Otherwise we may or may not be able to meet with you depending on our schedules.
3) Tours will not be given by the coaching staff unless you are on an NCAA official visit from the baseball program.

How do I get information about the school?

1) Visit the school webpage
2) Call the admissions office
3) Schedule a campus tour through the admissions office

What if I do not hear from a coach?

1) Have a coach follow up with a call to the baseball office.
2) Mail a cover letter and resume (1-2 pages)
3) Send an email
4) Personally call (player), calls from parents will be received but are strongly discouraged.
