Mavericks Drop Fall Opener
at CU-Colorado Springs, 5-4

Mesa State men's tennis team lost to CU-Colorado Springs, 5-4 at
The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs earlier today. The Mavericks won
2 of the 3 doubles matches and were victorious at number one and
number five singles.
Senior John Aragon and freshman Ryan Pena swept their
doubles and singles matches. Aragon teamed with Adam Byrne
at number two doubles for a 8-6 win. Brian Malberg and Pena
won at number three doubles, 8-6.
Aragon defeated Sean Voorhies at number one singles, 6-3,
6-1. Pena beat Jason Bisanti, 6-2, 7-6 at number five.
