Gary Burke and Ben Keefer to be Recognized by Wrestling Hall of
Fame
Mesa
State alumnus Gary Burke and Dr. Ben Keefer, Director
of the Montrose Campus and Extended Studies at MSC will be recognized
by the Colorado Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame at
a banquet, Saturday, April 26 at the United States Air Force Academy
Falcon Club.
Burke
will receive the Wrestling Media Award for his outstanding
coverage and dedication to promoting wrestling in the state of Colorado.
Burke writes for the Delta County Independent.
Keefer
will be honored as Wrestling Official of the Year
for his contribution, devotion and loyalty to the sport of wrestling.
The
National Wrestling Hall of Fame Museum is located in Stillwater,
OK. The Colorado Chapter was formed to maintain the history and
encourage the growth of the sport of wrestling.
The
