Eric Anderson Earns RMAC Player of the Week Honors

Junior midfielder Eric Anderson (Smithfield, Utah) was named Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Offense Player of the Week for his outstanding performance in the Mavs two weekend victories.

Anderson recorded the first hat trick in MSC men's soccer school history on Sunday afternoon to lead the Mavericks to a 4-3 home win against CSU-Pueblo. The win was the Mavs third consecutive victory of the season.

Friday night at home in front of the largest crowd to date (489), the Mavs were winners in a 3-2 back-and-forth battle over UC-Colorado Springs. In that game Anderson notched a goal and an assist.

On the week, Anderson tallied four goals, including a game-winning goal, one assist (nine points), 14 shots and eight shots on goal.

He leads the team in goals (six), point (15), shots (29), and shots on goal (11).

MSC will host Westminster College (Utah) this Sunday at 1 PM.
