Purpose:
* NCAA legislation's mandated that all member institutions and
members conferences establish student-athlete advisory bodies.

In 1997 the Mesa State College Student-Athlete Advisory Council
was launched.

Representatives from 14 varsity sports, the
athletic trainers and cheerleaders provide the membership of the Council.
