Mission Statement:
The Maverick Club promotes excellence in Mesa State College Athletics.
WELCOME TO THE MAVERICK CLUB! We are pleased that you would like
to join us in support of Mesa State Athletics. The 2003-2004 year
looks to be an exciting one and we look forward to meeting you and
making you a part of our Mesa State family. The Maverick Club
is made up of alumni and friends of Mesa State College united in an
organized effort to serve the College through their particular interest
in intercollegiate athletics. Maverick Club members play a vital role
in the current and future success of student-athletes at Mesa State
College. Members provide scholarship opportunities for athletes at
MSC that have an everlasting impact on their lives. The athletes of
MSC are known for their outstanding accomplishments. They have consistently
set the standards for athletic performance and academic achievement
in NCAA Division II. Their opportunities at Mesa State have resulted
in personal growth and professional development. Join us as we assist
our best and brightest realize their dreams. Please consider continuing
the Maverick Club legacy. Become a member of the group dedicated to
the on-and off-field success of student-athletes at Mesa State College.
The Maverick Club meets on the first Monday of each month for lunch
in the College Center. We'd like you to come and meet new friends,
talk with players and coaches, and follow the progress of MSC's 11
varsity collegiate sports.
