Mavericks Place Third at
Colorado College Invitational
(6k run - Colorado Springs, CO)

Senior Melissa Hillier (Highlands Ranch, CO) and junior Catherine
Backes (Fruita, CO) led the way for the Mavericks third place
finish at the Colorado College Invitational 6k run.
MSC finished behind host Colorado College, who placed first with
25 total points, and Regis University's 33 points, good for second
place.
Hillier finished 13th overall with a time of 25:31.00 and
Backes placed 14th (25:39.00). MSC's Erin Griffin
(Monument, CO) was 23rd (27:08.00) and Anna Moseley (Castle
Rock, CO) finished 24th (27:09.00). Devyn Huck (Estes Park,
CO) (27:45.00) and Chris Busch (Cedaredge, CO) (27:48.00)
placed 27th and 28th respectively.
MSC will travel to Greeley, CO for the Northern Colorado Invitational,
October 16.
