Mavericks Place Fifth at 7th Annual Dan Libera Memorial Invite

Junior Erin Griffin (Monument, CO) finished as the top Maverick runner at the 7th Annual Dan Libera Memorial Invite in Greeley, Colo. The meet, hosted by the University of Northern Colorado, was a 5k run on the campus of UNC.

Griffin placed 18th overall with a time of 21:17. Teammate Mellisa Hillier (Highlands Ranch, CO) placed 24th (21:35).

Host Northern Colorado took home top team honors (27 points). UNC's Lauren Dunsmoor was first with a time of 19:40. Regis University was second (49 points). Colorado College finished third (72), fourth was Colorado Northwestern (117). MSC was fifth (119) and Adams State sixth (161).

MSC will travel to Golden, CO., for the RMAC Championships Saturday, October 23, hosted by Colorado School of Mines.
