Mavericks Finish Second at Tom Strandt

Mesa State women's cross country
team placed second at the 2005 Tom Strandt Memorial Run in Durango,
Colo. earlier today. Host Ft. Lewis College took home top honors
and Dine College placed third.
MSC was led by senior Catherine
Backes (Fruita, Colo.) who placed 7th with a time of 21:22.
The Maverick runners placed 7th through 11th, with host FLC taking
the first five places.
