Teri Mayeda Named RMAC Player of the Week

Senior Teri Mayeda (Monument, CO) was named Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Player of the Week posting a 2-1 singles and doubles record on the Mavs road swing to Arizona.

The RMAC Preseason Player of the Year defeated Midwestern State’s (TX) and Grand Canyon’s
#1 singles players in three sets. Her only loss in singles and doubles came at the hands of Hawaii-Hilo's number one singles player.

MSC defeated Grand Canyon 7-2 and dropped dual matches to Midwestern State 6-3 and fell to Hawaii-Hilo, 9-0.

The Mavericks will return to action Friday, February 29 when they host DU women's club team at 10:30 am on the campus of Mesa State College.
