Admission Requirements
Admission applicants for the MBA program must:
- Submit an application with a $50 application fee payable to Mesa State College.
- Possess an undergraduate business degree from an accredited college or university. Applicants with other degrees would need to take the necessary business courses to be prepared for graduate work. The number of courses would depend on the applicants academic background.
- Have a GPA of 3.0 or better from the most recent 60 credit hours of course work earned toward a bachelors degree and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better for prior graduate work.
- Take the GRE and have official scores sent to the Admissions Office. Contact the Testing Center at 970.248.1260 to set-up an appointment.
- Provide two letters of academic and/or professional recommendation.
- Submit a 2500 word count essay demonstrating your writing and common knowledge of business current events with a minimum of three references using the APA formal style. Submit a hard copy and an electronic copy to jsandova@mesastate.edu.
- Attend an interview, if required, with members of the Graduate Admission Council.
