Q: What is the College Opportunity Fund (COF) and does it reduce

A: The College Opportunity Fund (COF) is for Colorado residents
only. This program is not a grant, loan or scholarship. The COF
program voucher (sometimes referred to as a stipend) transfers the
state of Colorado's tuition contribution from the College to the
individual student. While students do not receive any funds directly
from the state, a student who applies and authorizes the use of
the voucher receives an adjustment on his or her accounts. For COF-adjusted
in-state tuition rates, please see Tuition
and Fees. To learn how to apply for the COF, please see College
Opportunity Fund or contact our office.
