Mesa State College Programs

Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) Program
The Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) Program is a program which allows students
throughout the western United States to enroll at a reduced tuition rate. WUE students pay
instate tuition plus 50%, plus student fees

Student Orientation
All new incoming freshmen students are required to attend a Student Orientation program and new transfer students are strongly encouraged to attend. Because students who attend a Student Orientation session benefit greatly from meeting with an advisor to choose classes, we require all new freshmen to attend Student Orienation. To expedite the credit evaluation process, transfer students are also strongly encouraged to attend a Student Orientation session.

Freshman Year Programs

Freshman Year Initiative (FYI)
The FYI program is open to all MSC freshmen. The FYI program is a 2-credit version of MSC's college success course, Introduction to Higher Education, offered the week before school begins.
