I'm an In-State Freshmen
Entering Spring 2009
|
All new incoming, in-state, freshmen students
are required to attend a Student
Orientation program.
- Why? On average, students who attend a Student Orientation program
earn higher GPA's, have higher retention rates, and graduate sooner
than those who do not attend an Orientation. This is because students
that attend an Orientation know where to turn for help whenever
the need arises. Our programs are designed to get you the most
out of your time at Mesa State College. During your Orientation,
you will have the opportunity to:
- Meet with an academic advisor
- Register for first semester classes
- Learn how to use our online system
- Attend informative sessions
- Learn about getting involved in campus activities
- Get your student ID card (MAVcard)
- Take a campus tour, and more
If, due to extenuating circumstances, you
are unable to attend one of the Orientation dates listed below,
please contact the Mesa State Admissions Office at 970.248.1875
or 1.800.982.6372 ext. 1875 for assistance.
