As a Transfer Student, we encourage you to attend one of the many Orientation programs we have planned. However, since your needs are generally different than those of a first-time student, you are not required to attend an Orientation program.

Transfer students who register for a program at least three weeks in advance will have their transfer credit evaluation completed by the date of their program. Our programs are designed to get you the most out of your time at Mesa State College. During your Orientation, you will have the opportunity to:

• Meet with an academic advisor
• Register for first semester classes
• Learn how to use our online system
• Attend informative sessions
• Learn about getting involved in campus activities
• Get your student ID card (MAVcard)
• Take a campus tour, and more
