Bretey, Wesley Memorial Scholarship
Criteria: Mesa State College student, who is a previous District
51 high school graduate, with a desire to advance in emergency medicine.
Student must have and maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA. Recipient must
submit an essay describing their aspirations to advance in emergency
medicine as part of their application process.
Value: $1000

Burkey Family Memorial Scholarship

Criteria: Mesa State College full-time Senior with a minimum
GPA of 3.0.

Capp, Randall Family Scholarship
Administered by the Mesa State College Foundation
Criteria: Mesa State College full-time student, enrolled
in the Nursing or Radiologic Sciences program, with an interest
in Oncology. Student must have and maintain an institutional cumulative
GPA of 2.0 and must agree to work in Mesa County for two years after
graduation, or shall pay back the scholarship funds.
Value: $1000 or as determined by funds available.

Dixson, Bruce and Louise Scholarship

a history of self help and a GPA between 2.0 and 3.5. Athletes are
not eligible for this scholarship.

Gilmore, Richard F. DDS Award

Criteria: Mesa State College student with a minimum GPA of
2.75 who has been accepted into dental school. Qualified applicants
must show evidence of acceptance into dental school.

Goffredi Memorial Scholarship
Administered by the Mesa State College Foundation
Criteria: Mesa State College full-time Sophomore or higher
majoring in Radiologic Science with a minimum GPA of 3.5. The recipient
must be gainfully employed a minimum of 10 hours per week while
enrolled in school.
Value: $1200

Greer, Lapham, Roth Scholarship - Nursing

Criteria: Mesa State College full-time Nursing student who
is a resident of the Western Slope, Colorado with financial need
and a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Hansen, Eleanor Memorial Fund Scholarship

a minimum GPA of 3.0. Preference given to a student nurse whose
goal is to work in the area of cancer research and care of cancer
patients.

Hilltop LPN Scholarship
Criteria: Available to a Mesa State College full-time or
part-time student majoring in Nursing. The recipient must maintain
a minimum institutional cumulative GPA of 3.0 and complete a minimum
of 12 credit hours each semester. The student must be accepted into
the Certificate in Licensed Practical Nursing program. Financial
need may be a consideration.

Scholarship
Administered by the Mesa State College Foundation
Criteria: Mesa State College full-time student who is a resident
of Mesa County, Colorado. Applicants must be majoring in Science,
Education, Engineering or Healthcare. Preference will be given to
students in a two year Associate degree with a GPA between 2.0 -
3.0.

Mesa County Medical Society (MCMS) & Auxiliary Nursing Scholarship

Criteria: Mesa State College full-time Nursing student with
a minimum GPA of 3.0 having financial need who is a resident of
Mesa County, Colorado. The intention of the award is that the recipient
work in Mesa County for at least two years following graduation.

Criteria: Mesa State College full-time female student selected
on the basis of need, scholarship ability and on seriousness of
purpose and endeavor. The recipient must have a minimum institutional
cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Wagler, S.N. Scholarship
Administered by the Mesa State College Foundation
Criteria: Mesa State College full-time student with a minimum
GPA of 2.5 enrolled in any Associate or Baccalaureate degree who
otherwise might not have been able to secure a college education
without encouragement and financial assistance. The recipient is
selected on the basis of need, scholarship ability and on seriousness
of purpose and endeavor.

Zeigel, Dr. Henry H. and Margaret Fund Award - Nursing
Administered by the Mesa State College Foundation
Criteria: Mesa State College full-time Nursing student with
a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Wolk, Selma LPN Scholarship
Administered by the Mesa State College Foundation
Criteria: Mesa State College student accepted into the Certificate
in Licensed Practical Nursing Program and must have satisfactorily
completed the program's prerequisite courses. Recipient can be full
or part-time, but must be currently working in a long-term care
facility with a career goal to continue in the field of geriatric
nursing care. Each applicant must provide a letter of recommendation
from the Director of Nursing at the institution where he/she is
employed. Recipient must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 and have documented
financial need.

Emerson Family Nursing Scholarship

Criteria: Available to Mesa State College full-time nursing
student who are Mesa County residents. Incoming freshmen applicants
must have maintained a minimum 3.0 GPA while in high school. Recipients
must maintain a 2.5 during the term of the scholarship award.
Value: Tuition, Fees and Books for a maximum of 15 credit
hours per semester
