Brach, Louis and Bettty Scholarship
Criteria: Mesa State College full-time Junior or Senior student in any major of study with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
Value: $500

Hunter, Sara Frances and E. Ray Memorial Scholarship
Administered by the Mesa State College Foundation
Criteria: Mesa State College full time student who is a resident of Mesa County, Colorado. Applicants must be majoring in Science, Education, Engineering or Healthcare. Preference will be given to students in a two year Associate degree with a GPA between 2.0 - 3.0.
Value: $250
Deadline: March 3, 2008

Mesa Valley Education Association Scholarship
Administered by the Mesa State College Foundation
Criteria: Mesa State College full time U.S. citizen student with a minimum GPA of 3.0 classified as a Junior or Senior seeking teacher certification. Applicants must be a spouse or child of a current member of MVEA, CEA and NEA or themselves be a current student member of CEA and NEA.
Value: $1,000

Minion, Jack Memorial Scholarship ($300 or as determined by funds available))
Administered by the Mesa State College Foundation
Criteria: Mesa State College full time Senior with financial need enrolled in Humanities and Social Sciences majoring in Elementary Education with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Value:$300
Deadline: March 3, 2008

Murch, Marguerite E. Memorial Scholarship
Administered by the Mesa State College Foundation
Criteria: Mesa State College students enrolled in Kinesiology or any program within Natural Sciences and Mathematics who have earned a Baccalaureate Degree and are beginning their semester of student teaching and working toward their teacher licensure in secondary education. Minimum GPA requirement 3.25. Preference given to graduates of Mesa County high schools.
Value: $250 (one semester)

Wagler, Mattie Smith Scholarship
Administered by the Mesa State College Foundation
Criteria: Mesa State College full-time female student selected on the basis of need, scholarship ability and on seriousness of purpose and endeavor. The recipient must have a minimum institutional cumulative GPA of 3.0.
Value: $1000 or as determined by funds available
Deadline: March 3, 2008

Wagler, S.N. Scholarship
Administered by the Mesa State College Foundation
Criteria: Mesa State College full time student with a minimum GPA of 2.5 enrolled in any Associate or Baccalaureate degree who otherwise might not have been able to secure a college education without encouragement and financial assistance. The recipient is selected on the basis of need, scholarship ability and on seriousness of purpose and endeavor.
Value: $500 or as determined by funds available

Klausmeier, Richard Mathematics Secondary Education Scholarship

Criteria: Full-time Mesa State College student accepted in to the Center for Teacher Education, secondary education licensure program with mathematics major.
Value: $1000 ($500 per semester) to be applied to tuition and fees.
