Mesa State College Academic (Colorado) Scholarship - Natural Sciences and Mathematics
Criteria: Mesa State College full time students with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Value: Up to $1,000

Brach, Louis and Bettty Scholarship
Criteria: Mesa State College full-time Junior or Senior student in any major of study with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
Value: $500
Deadline: March 3, 2008

Burkey Family Memorial Scholarship
Administered by the Mesa State College Foundation
Criteria: Mesa State College full time Senior with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Value: $500
Deadline: March 3, 2008

Burns, Dr. Dorr Computer Science Scholarship
Administered by the Mesa State College Foundation
Criteria: Mesa State College full time Sophomore, Junior or Senior Computer Science major with a minimum GPA of 3.5. International students may be considered.
Value: $2500

Dixson, Bruce and Louise Scholarship
Administered by the Mesa State College Foundation
Criteria: Mesa State College full time students who have a history of self help and a GPA between 2.0 and 3.5. Athletes are not eligible for this scholarship.
Value: $500

Dixson, Bruce Scholar and Mentor Award
Administered by the Mesa State College Foundation
Criteria: Mesa State College full time Junior enrolled in Natural Sciences and Mathematics with financial need and demonstrating academic performance. An outstanding Sophomore may be considered.
This award provides a meaningful work/training experience between the Scholar (student) and Mentor (supervising faculty member). The Scholar benefits financially and practically as he/she assists the Mentor in his/her teaching and research endeavors, and the Mentor benefits from the assistance.
Value: $2,000 or as determined by funds available. Award may be continued until graduation of recipient if approved by the Dean

Gardner, David M. Memorial Scholarship
Administered by the Mesa State College Foundation
Criteria: Mesa State College Sophomore, Junior or Senior who graduated from a Mesa County High School majoring in any area of Natural Sciences and Mathematics with a minimum GPA of 3.5.
Value: In-state tuition and fees, for a maximum of 12 credit hours per semester.
Deadline: March 3, 2008

Goodwin Foundation Scholarship
Administered by the Mesa State College Foundation
Criteria: Mesa State College full time Junior or Senior majoring in any area of Natural Sciences and Mathematics with financial need and a minimum GPA of 3.5.
Value: In-state tuition and fee, for a maximum of 12 credit hours per semester.
Deadline: March 3, 2008

Hawkins, Edwin and Harriet History of Mathematics Scholarship
Administered by the Mesa State College Foundation
Criteria: Mesa State College full time student who is enrolled in the Spring math course, Math 380 History of Mathematics.
Value: $1,000

Hunter, Sara Frances and E. Ray Memorial Scholarship
Administered by the Mesa State College Foundation
Criteria: Mesa State College full time student who is a resident of Mesa County, Colorado. Applicants must be majoring in Science, Education, Education, Engineering or Healthcare. Preference will be given to students in a two year Associate degree with a GPA between 2.0 - 3.0.
Value: $250

Murch, Marguerite E. Memorial Scholarship
Administered by the Mesa State College Foundation
Criteria: Mesa State College full time student enrolled in any area of Natural Sciences and Mathematics who has earned a Baccalaureate Degree and is beginning their semester of student teaching and working toward teacher licensure in secondary education with a minimum GPA of 3.25. Preference given to graduates of a Mesa County high school.
Value: $250 or as determined by funds available

Wagler, Mattie Smith Scholarship
Administered by the Mesa State College Foundation
Criteria: Mesa State College full-time female student selected on the basis of need, scholarship ability and on seriousness of purpose and endeavor. The recipient must have a minimum institutional cumulative GPA of 3.0.
Value: $1000 or as determined by funds available
Deadline: March 3, 2008

Wagler, S. N. Scholarship
Administered by the Mesa State College Foundation
Criteria: Mesa State College full time student with a minimum GPA of 2.5 enrolled in any Associate or Baccalaureate degree who otherwise might not have been able to secure a college education without encouragement and financial assistance. The recipient is selected on the basis of need, scholarship ability and on seriousness of purpose and endeavor.
Value: $500 or as determined by funds available
Deadline: March 3, 2008

Criteria: Mesa State College Fine and Performing Arts major or Natural Sciences and Mathematics major. Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be enrolled full-time (12 credit hours per semester).
Value: In-state tuition and fees, for a maximum of 12 credit hours per semester.
