Mesa State & Western Colorado Community College are involved in partnerships with school districts within the western slope region to provide opportunities for high school students to accelerate their educations and earn college courses while still in high school.
Three different concurrent enrollment Options are available for qualified high school students: 1) Concurrent; 2) High School Scholars; 3) Fast Track.
The program, established by the Colorado Legislature, provides unique opportunities for eligible students to earn college credits concurrently with high school courses and to reduce future college expenses by taking classes now.
Each school district has its own policies on concurrent course credits, tuition payments and reimbursements, and course availability. Please see your local school liaison for specific information.
High school liaisons play an important part in the overall effectiveness and success of the Concurrent Enrollment program. The high school counselor is typically the program liaison. Find the latest information about the program here.
