SNOW
REMOVAL
GENERAL INFORMATION
Snow will be removed from all walking surfaces on campus, according
to priorities established by the Assistant Director of Facilities.
The Facilities LTC (Labor, Trades and Crafts) supervisor will coordinate
snow removal operations. In his absence, the Assistant Director
of Facilities will assume that duty.
Snow removal will usually begin at 6:00 a.m. If snow is still falling,
the decision to begin removal or not will be made by the Assistant
Director of Facilities Services or, in his absense, the LTC Supervisor.
Off duty employees are not expected to report for snow removal
unless contacted by their supervisor. Employees reporting for snow
removal are required to sign in on the Snow Removal Duty Sheet posted
in the Facilities shop hallway.
