Information about the job: Our custodians are an essential
ingredient to the successful operation of Mesa State College. Maintaining
the cleanliness of our facilities is crucial to supporting this
learning and working environment. If you take pride in your work

to apply. Hours for these positions are Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m.
- 4:00 p.m., Thursday - Monday, 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., with possible
earlier hours on weekends, and Monday - Friday, 5:00 p.m. - 1:30
a.m. Periodic shift-work is required, and assignment to different
shifts may become necessary.
Duties: Assist in maintaining a healthy environment by providing
outstanding custodial service for campus facilities. Clean, dust,
sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, walls, windows, ceilings. Use various
custodial equipment especially to refinish floors or care for carpet.
Assist in moving MSC furniture, books and materials as needed.
Requirements: Minimum of six months of custodial experience
to include performance of duties listed above and valid Colorado
driver's license required. Must be able to exert up to or in excess
of 100 pounds of force occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20
pounds constantly. Your experience with each of these requirements
must be specifically addressed on your application. It is beneficial

Necessary Special Requirements: Successful completion of
background check and drug screen required. Should applicant's background
reveal criminal charges, it shall be the responsibility of the applicant
to provide Mesa State College, Department of Human Resources, with
