ANNOUNCEMENT OF POSITION VACANCY


POSITION TITLE: Instructional Assistant-Electric Lineworker

RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for supporting the teaching of the post-secondary electric lineworker curriculum. Duties include assisting in classroom/lab setup, scheduling, and equipment maintenance. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: Basic computer skills and strong communication and mathematical skills required. The outdoor work environment demands good physical condition. Knowledge of electrical construction or line worker experience preferred.

TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: Full-time, 185-day appointment, to start August 12, 2008.

SALARY: Salary commensurate with experience. Excellent health and retirement benefits package.
