Criteria: Must be a Mesa State student enrolled in the Mechanical Engineering program. Suggested application minimum GPA of 3.0. Must be a resident of one of the following counties: Colorado counties: Garfield, Mesa, Delta, Montrose, San Miguel, Ouray, Gunnison, Pitkin or Eagle. Utah county - Grand. Scholarship may be renewed every year as long as minimum requirements are met and students re-apply.

Criteria: Must be a second-year engineering student with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Student must submit a two-page essay on how the energy industry impacts his/her life.
