Criteria: Mesa State College student, who is a previous District 51 high school graduate, with a desire to advance in emergency medicine. Student must have and maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA. Recipient must submit an essay describing their aspirations to advance in emergency medicine as part of their application process.

Criteria: Available to a Mesa State College full-time or part-time student majoring in Nursing. The recipient must maintain a minimum institutional cumulative GPA of 3.0 and complete a minimum of 12 credit hours each semester. The student must be accepted into the Certificate in Licensed Practical Nursing program. Financial need may be a consideration.

Criteria: Mesa State College full-time, incoming freshman planning to enroll in the baccalaureate nursing program. Must be a graduate of a Mesa County, Colorado high school.  Financial need, community involvement, academic performance and potential will be considered equally for this scholarship. Scholarship may be renewable for up to five years if student meets the requirements and maintains a minimum 3.5 GPA.

Recipient can be full or part-time, but must be currently working in a long-term care facility with a career goal to continue in the field of geriatric nursing care. Each applicant must provide a letter of recommendation from the Director of Nursing at the institution where he/she is employed. Recipient must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 and have documented financial need.
