A workshop GIS and the public development
of oil and gas resources in the Western U.S, jointly sponsored by
Mesa State College and ESRI is scheduled for July 31 to August 2,
2007 at Mesa State College campus in Grand Junction, Colorado. This
course is designed for oil and natural gas applications in an ArcGIS
environment.
Who Should Attend:
The course is targeted towards oil and gas production
personnel including managers, geologists, geophysicists, mining
engineers, petroleum engineers, surveyors, pipeline planners, surface
developers, project managers, reservoir engineers, chemical engineers,
environmentalists, and anyone directly or indirectly involved with
natural gas and oil exploration and production. This course is also
designed for educators who plan to teach GIS Applications in oil
and natural gas industries in their colleges or universities. College
and university students are welcome to attend.
