Wanted JOURNEYMAN LINEMAN: Page Electric Utility, Home of the beautiful Lake Powell, is seeking highly motivated, qualified applicants for the position of Journeyman Lineman. This position is responsible for the construction & maintenance of overhead & underground distribution lines. The successful candidate will have knowledge in working with energized equipment to 25kV & maintaining 69kV lines Requirements include, a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a four-year certified apprenticeship program, proof of certification, advanced training is desirable. The candidate must demonstrate skill in pole & tower climbing, splicing wires, using hotline tools and working in aerial devices. Ability to interpret electrical plans and prints and to stand, use both hands, arms and legs, stoop and bend, and lift up to 100 pounds A valid AZ Class A CDL is required. This position requires the ability to be on call on a rotating basis, to work various hours, weekends, & evenings. The candidate will be required to live within a 15-minute response radius of the principle place of work. The ideal candidate will adapt readily to change & enjoy the challenge of a fast paced, dynamic workplace. The position requires a highly motivated individual with the ability to work productively in a team atmosphere. PEU offers competitive compensation& a complete benefits package.
