Registration Information


All participants, students, instructors, and company representatives must register.

The Mesa Hotline School Registration booklet is viewable in an Adobe Acrobat PDF format. Information about this format including free Acrobat Reader software is available from Adobe.

The Registration booklet contains a comprehensive look at the Mesa Hotline School. Included in the booklet is a note from the Mesa Hotline School President, descriptions of the classes (Underground, Overhead, and Sub-Station classes), classroom groups, general information, and the registration forms required. Please use the registration forms and furnish all requested information. Please read instructions carefully and note that classes may have a limited enrollment and a second selection should be included.

Please make copies of the registration form available to all participants, and have the participants bring their copy to the school registration. When you do register other employees please inform them of their equipment needs.

Registration forms must be postmarked no later than (to be announced). There will be a $20.00 charge per student for late registrations postmarked between (to be announced). Please try to get your registration forms in as early as possible to help committee members arrange for adequate equipment and instructors if registration is heavier than anticipated.

REFUND POLICY:

Refunds for student registrations will be granted with either written or verbal notification submitted on or prior to (to be announced). Refund requests not meeting this criteria will be subject to approval of the Mesa Hotline Board of Directors at the July Planning Meeting. Emergencies such as major storm or death in a family are reasonable requests for refund and will be considered by the Board of Directors in July following the Hotline School.

CHECK-IN:

On Sunday of each week, from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm, students may check-in and obtain class information and scheduling at the Grand Junction Hotel. Students may also obtain this information on Monday of each week from 7:00 am to 7:30 am. There will be a short orientation meeting on Monday, beginning at 7:30 am.

Hats, shirts, belt buckles, and raffle tickets for a $500 Gift Certificate from Cabelas will be on sale at registration times, at the Wednesday evening social, prior to the banquet, and Friday morning. All proceeds go to the Mesa State College Electric Lineman Scholarship Program.

INSTRUCTOR MEETING:

A meeting for all instructors will be held each week on (to be announced)at 6:00 pm at the Double Tree Hotel next to the registration room. There is no fee for instructors, but please remember to include instructors' names and what classes they are to teach on the registration form.
