Business Office
The Mesa State College Business Office supplies bills and account
information to students and parents, disburses financial aid, provides
refunds when owed, and offers various payment options and schedules
to ensure bills are paid on time without penalty. For more information,

Fall Information:
- New degree-seeking students starting in the
Fall Session will be subject to the Matriculation
Fee.
- Some courses may have additional fees beyond the standard tuition
and fees.
- Enrollment for Student Health Insurance ends on September 15,
2006
- Tuition and fees for Fall Session are due on the first
day of class and cannot be deferred.
- Bills are mailed after August 16th. Past-due balances
are subject to additional charges.
- Official withdrawal from all classes must be completed prior
to the first day of the semester in order to receive a 100%
refund.

On-line under "Student Services and Financial Aid",
then click "Student Records" and "Account Balance";

- August 21, 2006 - Classes begin – tuition
and fees are due
- August 21, 2006 - Last day to withdraw from
classes and receive a 100% refund less a 5%
administration fee
- August 28, 2006 - Last day for a total withdraw
and receive a 90% refund less a 5%
administration fee
- August 28, 2006 - Last day to add or drop a
first module class without receiving a grade
- September 7, 2006 - Census Date
- September 11, 2006 - Last day for total withdraw
and receive a 50% refund less a 5%
administration fee
- September 15, 2006 - Last day to pay tuition
and fees without a late fee being assessed
- September 15, 2006 - Last day to sign up for
Student Health Insurance
- September 15, 2006 - Last
day to sign up for Fall Semester Payment Plan
- October 13, 2006 - Last day for total withdraw
and receive a 25% refund less 5%
administration fee
- October 18, 2006 - Second Module classes begin
- December 15, 2006 - Deadline to pay outstanding
balances to avoid purge of Spring 2007 schedule
Important Billing Information
- All Tuition and fees are due on the first day of class unless
you are on the payment plan
- If you still have a balance and are not on the payment plan
by September 15th, you will be charged a $50 late fee and a 1%
monthly service charge on your outstanding balance
- You will not be allowed to register for classes or receive transcripts
until you have paid off your account balance in full.
- If you still have an account balance after the semester is over,
you need to be paying on your account or your account will be
sent to Colorado State Collections (you will be charged an extra
15% collection fee).

Mesa State
Payment Plan
- Plan allows students to make payments during the semester to
finance tuition, student fees, housing, and meal plans
- Plan is interest free
- There is a $30 administrative each semester you sign up for
the plan
- Payments for the payment plan can be made with automatic bank
payments (ACH) or automatic credit card payments
- Payments are made on the 5th of each month
- Payment amounts adjust as changes are made on the account
- There are a number of plan options which have different start
dates and number of payments
- Deadline to sign up for the plan:
- Fall - September 15, 2006
- Spring - February 15, 2007
- If you sign up for the plan after the first payment is due,
you need to make up the payment that you have missed when you
sign up for the plan
- Enroll in the FACTS
Payment Plan online through Maverick
On-line by logging in, then click on Student Services &
Financial Aid, then Student Records, then E-cashier.
- Be sure to have the following information:
- Nine-digit student ID or 700 number
- The name, address, and email address of the person responsible
for making the payments
- To protect your privacy, you will need to create your own unique
FACTS Access Code. Please be sure it is something you can easily
remember
- Account information for the person responsible for payment
- If paying by automatic bank payments, you will need the bank
name, telephone number, account number, and the bank routing number.
Most of this information is located on your check
- If paying by credit card, you will need the credit card number
and expiration date
