Johnson Art Gallery Presents the 2004 Art Faculty
Exhibit
Grand Junction, CO - The Johnson Art Gallery will begin its
first exhibit of the 2004 - 2005 season on August 23 and continue
through September 10.
Featuring the works of Mesa State College art faculty members,
the exhibit will include paintings, printmaking, and pottery and
sculpture pieces. The exhibitors, who are also professional artists,
include Joshua Butler, Suzie Garner, Charles Hardy, Laverne Mosher,
Carolyn Quinn-Hensley and Marilyn Wounded Head. In addition, several
part-time faculty members will also feature their works in the exhibit.
A public reception will also be held on Friday, August 27 from
7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Johnson Art Gallery. The featured exhibitors
will be on hand to discuss the inspiration behind and the creation
of their works.
The Johnson Gallery is located in the W.W. Campbell College Center.
Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Admission
