Playwright Trumbo to Speak at Mesa State

Grand Junction, CO - Christopher Trumbo, actor, author and son of famed screenwriter Dalton Trumbo, will speak on Nov. 11 at 7 p.m. in Mesa State College's Moss Performing Arts Center, room 136.

Trumbo is the author of "Trumbo: Red, White and Blacklisted," which tells the story of the Hollywood blacklist from 1947-68 through one family, that of Colorado-born screenwriter Dalton Trumbo ("Spartacus"). The text was lovingly stitched together from the more than 1,000 letters his prolific father left behind.
