It's about art.
It's about what we've learned, seen, heard, felt and experienced.
It's about combining three unique artists in an incredible exhibit,
entitled "The Show." Mary Angelo, Melissa Johnson and
Samantha McGuire will bring their common focuses of paint and metal
to Mesa State College's Johnson Art Gallery from March 28 through
April 8. A reception will be held on Friday, April 1, from 7 p.m.
to 9 p.m. will give the public a chance to meet the artists.
The exhibit features contemporary paintings and bronzes created
by the artists while they studying at Mesa State College. Though
their styles vary, Angelo, Johnson, and McGuire's common thread
of paint and metal bring a cohesive feel to "The Show."
The Johnson Art Gallery is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to
4 p.m., and admission is free. For more information, contact the
Mesa State College Art Department at 970.248.1833.
