Who do I contact to register for classes?
Newly admitted degree-seeking students are encouraged to sign up for an Orientation program through the Admissions Office at (970)248-1875.

Transfer students may register through Maverick Online or in person. Contact the Transfer Center at 970-248-1232 or the Transfer Evaluator in the Registrar's Office if assistance is needed with the transfer of credit.

Non-Degree seeking students may register through Maverick Online or in person at the Registrar's Office, Montrose Office, or Student Services at Western Colorado Community College.

High School Students in the Fast Track or Early Scholar Program must work with their High School Counselor and the Admissions Office to enroll in classes.

How long do I have to register for classes starting on January 22?
Registration through Maverick Online is available through January 24th as long as the class is open, doesn't require instructor permission, and you meet the pre-requisites. Since classes start on January 22nd, you would be responsible for learning the materials missed if you register on/after that date. Keep in mind that it is best to register for your classes as soon as possible; classes with low enrollment may be cancelled. New students who are seeking a degree initially register through an Orientation program and can adjust their schedule through the Advising and Career Center.

How do I look up if a class is open?
Prospective students can view classes through the schedule viewer. Select Spring 2007, choose the subject, and click Class Search. A list of all sections will appear for that subject. Click on the section title line and it will show the remaining seats.
