MESA STATE COLLEGE POLICIES

Introduction

There are several acceptable use policies at the College that affect students, faculty and staff. Please make yourself familiar with the following items:

E-mail and File Transfer

The Mesa State College Electronics Communication Policy of 1997 governs all sending and receiving of electonic information both on campus via Mesa's network and off campus via the Internet.

All Computers

Any Mesa State College computer used by any indivudual falls under the Mesa State College Computer User Policy.

Computer Labs

Specific rules apply to the use of any college owned student lab computer under Computer Lab User Responsibilities.

Web Pages

Specific rules apply to any web page hosted by Mesa under Mesa State College World Wide Web Policy Statement.

Software

Mesa follows all legal requirements for the licensing and use of software on the College's computers under the Software Copyright and Compliance Policy.

Students

Students have additional requirements as listed in the Student Code of Conduct in the Mesa State College Student Handbook.
