Distance Learning

Media Services manages and coordinates the Distance Learning/videoconferencing facilities at Mesa State.Mesa State utilizes compressed video and microwave technologies to teach classes at off-campus sites. Distance classrooms are located on the Mesa State main campus, the Tilman M Bishop Campus, the Montrose campus, and at Colorado Community College at Spring Valley in Glenwood Springs. Classes may be originated by Mesa State or received on the system from other institutions. The facilities may also be accessed for videoconferencing purposes such as meetings, bringing in guest speakers, demonstrations. Those interested in using the facilities should contact the Head of Media Services.
