Passwords expire every 12 months.
To keep your access and information secure, you MUST change
your network user name and password every twelve months.
How do I know when it is expired?
If you are trying to log onto a computer in one of the labs
on campus, the computer will tell you that your password has
expired. Also, the system will send to your campus e-mail
account a notice that your password is about to expire.
If you never log onto a computer on campus nor use your campus
e-mail account, you will not receive notification that your
password has expired. The first sign of trouble will be an
inability to dial into the system from home.
How do I change my password?
When logging into a computer on campus, the system will notify
you that your password has expired and ask whether you want
to change it. Click the "Yes" button and enter a
new password you wish to use.
When using your campus e-mail account, you can change your
password by
Click the
button located in the top center of the screen.
In the form that appears, enter your old password and new
password twice, scroll to the bottom of the form, and click
the
save button.
Trouble?
You can call the computer lab located in the Tomlinson Library
and speak with a lab assistant. The phone number is 245-1885.
If you are unable to change your password online, you must
appear in person at this computer lab between the hours of
7:30 A.M. and 4:30 P.M. during a week day. Bring photo identification
such as a Maverick Card, driver's license, military id or
passport.
I can't check my grades!
Each student has two sets of user names and password. Your
network password will not allow your to access your
grades. For this, use your MesaWeb user name, which is your
student identification number (700 number) and your MesaWeb
password, which is a combination of six numbers.
Help with MesaWeb Password
