What is an H Drive?

The H Drive is space reserved on one of the Mesa State Servers where professors can make files available for students.

Instructions (off Campus & in dormitories)

To download or view these files while logged into a computer on campus,

  • Connect to the Internet and open Internet Explorer.
  • Go to www.mesastate.edu.
  • Point to Current students.
  • Click "Student Login" in the drop down menu.
  • Click the link.
  • If a Security Alert Window pops up, click the button and continue. A window labeled"Enter Network Password" appears.
  • In the Enter Network Password Window, use your network (Novell) user name and password to log in. This is the same user name and password that is used in the computer labs on campus. The new window that appears has a link for each professor who uses the H Drive.
  • Locate the link for you professor and click on it. You will then see the files that your professor has made available.
  • Browse the professor's files and folders until locating the one, or ones, you need. Double click on a file to open it.
