Shortcut to the H Drive
Go to www.mesastate.edu
Point to .
Click "Student Login" in the drop
down menu.
Click
Login using your network
username and password.

Avoid using floppy disks. They are infamous for becoming
corrupt at the worst times. If using floppy disks
is your only alternative, copy your files to a second
floppy disk as a backup.

File Storage - Access via Internet
This page contains instructions for uploading and downloading
files to and from servers at Mesa State College.
Home Folder
(F Drive) is space, on Mesa State servers, where students
may store files they need for courses. It should be used for
academic use only. Students cannot see nor modify files on
other student's Home Folders (F Drives).
Download Folder (H
Drive) is space, Mesa State servers, where instructors
save files to make them available to students.
Courses Folder
(K Drive) is space, on Mesa State servers, where students
can electronically turn in assignments.
L Drive is space, on Mesa State
servers, where students, who take classes primarily on the
Montrose Campus, can save files needed for their courses.
Students cannot see nor modify files on other student's L
Drive. The L Drive should be used for academic use only.
Saving to Network Folders/Drives
- Connect to the Internet.
- Open Internet Explorer (or your browser of choice).
- Go to www.mesastate.edu.
- Point to

- Click "Student Login" in the drop down menu.
- Click the
link.
- Log in using your network username
and password.
- In the "Security Alert" window, click the "yes"
button.
- You should then see a screen looking like the image below.
If so, you have loaded the NetStorage window and are ready
to upload and download files.
- Locate the drive/folder to which you wish to save a file
and click that drive/folder once.
- Click File and Upload as shown below,

- In this new window, click the
button.
- Locate and click, to select,the file to be saved to the
network drive/folder.
- Click on the
button.
The file will be uploaded to your F Drive. The amount of
time required depends on the speed of your Internet connection
and the size of the file.
Downloading from Network Drives/Folders
To open a file from a network drive/folder, first download
it to your computer. Here are the steps,
- Connect to the Internet.
- Open Internet Explorer (or your browser of choice).
- Go to www.mesastate.edu.
- Point to

- Click "Student Login" in the drop down menu.
- Click the
link.
- Log in using your network username
and password.
- In the "Security Alert" window, click the "yes"
button.
- You should then see a screen looking like the image above.
If so, you have loaded the NetStorage window and are ready
to upload and download files.
- In the left hand column of the Net Storage window, locate
the drive/folder from which you wish to download a file
and click that drive/folder once.
- Click the check box located in front of the file once
to select it.
- Click File and Download as shown below,
