Core Values and Traditions
Mesa State values teaching, learning, and student-faculty interaction.
We provide our students with expanded opportunities to participate
in research and active hands-on learning as a supplement to the
classroom. Mesa State is dedicated to assisting students in achieving
their goals and dreams.
A talented and motivated student body is essential to our success.
While the majority of our students come from Colorado and the
surrounding region, an increasing number of qualified students
come from other parts of the U.S. and around the world. This diversity
enhances the educational experience at Mesa State.
We provide a broad, liberal arts-based curriculum, offering a
wide range of degrees and programs in the arts, sciences, humanities,
and selected professional disciplines. Our role as the regional
education provider in western Colorado means that we offer opportunities
for graduate and technical education.
