1. The official name of the entire building is "Moss Performing Arts Center".

2. It is acceptable to refer to the building as "Moss Center" in:

· Informal materials
· Where space may be limited
· As a second or later reference in a document where the first reference was "Moss Performing Arts Center".

3. Official Mesa State College communications (advertising, brochures, press releases, PSAs, interviews, speeches, etc.) referring to performances, classes, and events in Moss Performing Arts Center should include the full name whenever possible.

4. If an event is held in a named part of the building, that name should be first; otherwise Moss Performing Arts Center should be first. Examples:

· Robinson Theatre at Moss Performing Arts Center
· Walter Walker Reception Area at Moss Center
· Moss Performing Arts Center Recital Hall
· Moss Center Experimental Theatre
· Moss Performing Arts Center Room #….

5. Course/Class schedules will list the rooms using the four-letter abbreviation "MPAC". (MPAC128, MPAC142, MPAC Recital, etc.)

6. Whenever possible it is preferred to use the official Moss Performing Arts Center logo which is available at the Image Property Usage Policy page. Questions regarding logo usage can be directed to the Department of Institutional Advancement.


7. Any deviation from this policy must receive the approval of the Department of Institutional Advancement.
