Albers Hall, located on the corner of 12th Street and Elm Avenue,
is the home of Mesa State College´s Teacher Education
and Licensure program.
A renovated boarding house, Albers Hall is named for former
college president Dr. Theodore Albers. Albers was Mesa´s
6th president and served from July, 1970 through June, 1974
when failing health forced his retirement. Under the watch of
Dr. Albers Mesa State College was given state approval for conversion
to a four-year bachelor´s degree granting state institution.
Parking for Albers Hall is located directly across Elm Avenue.
